SMART-eNAT® combines Copan patented SMART push & turn activation and delivery system - a post-collection, high-performance yet intuitive cap that avoids unwanted media spillage or contact, facilitating self-sampling at home - with eNAT® and FLOQSwabs®, stabilising and preserving RNA/DNA for prolonged periods. The SMART-eNAT® is available paired with three different swab shafts specific for vaginal, buccal and rectal collection or in a kit with a swab for microbiome research purposes. This swab has a liquid based molecular medium which inactivates viruses and bacteria, preserving nucleic-acids at room temperature.
